Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain safe, clean, and orderly working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
Troubleshoot equipment and determine root cause and take corrective action to resolve system failures.
Participate in technical design, and analysis of requirements of the various IT systems to identify the potential for benefits and improvements working with experienced and knowledgeable fellow IT Professionals.
Develops, selects, and tests systems and their components to evaluate/select best in class and technology systems.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT Professionals on problem solving through root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and effective solutions to prevent root cause.
Ability to successfully work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team seeking to continuously improve IT performance and customer satisfaction.
Acts as a liaison between IT and business units for translating business requirements into the development, implementation, and enhancement of new and existing systems.
Identifies and evaluates new IT capabilities to improve business outcomes while recommending and communicating appropriate solutions and/or enhancements to current systems.
Develops and executes processes for creating, managing, and executing quality assurance for technology solutions.
Manages and or coordinates incident management execution in collaboration with internal and external parties.
All other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or similar technology degree.
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00
Availability to work at least 40 hours a week.
Basic knowledge of IT equipment and software
Proven ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision
Ability to record and present data in a clear and concise manner
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Solid software application skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Good organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness and desire for continual learning and self-development.
