Treasury Accounting Reporting Manager

Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Job Summary

This position will handle the Treasury Financial Reporting for all segments of Delek US Holdings including refining, retail, logistics and transportation.

 

Description and Responsibilities:

 

  • Treasury Financial Reporting for all segments of Delek US Holdings
    • Monthly debt and interest accruals
    • Quarterly debt roll forward/Minimum interest expense
    • Quarterly debt footnote support for financial reporting
    • Quarterly average interest summary reporting
    • Audit responses related to debt and interest
  • Prepare and issue debt confirmations
    • Carefully prepare confirms based on reviewed materials
    • Submit confirms for review
    • Follow up with addressees to ensure receipt
    • Discuss confirm receipt with external auditors as needed
  • Prepare debt accounting worksheets for new debt agreements or material amendments
  • Maintain monthly schedule of all letters of credit
  • Monthly Treasury KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting and review for management meeting
  • Back up for Wire Review and Wire Releaser
  • Assist with SAP implementation of debt and interest module setup
    • Assist in planning and implementing a project plan to integrate the debt and interest accruals into SAP
    • Assist in testing of master data prior to go live integration
    • Input of master and transactional date once system is online
  • Retail segment management/deposit verification oversight
    • Analyst cash over/short report weekly as needed
    • Assist with deposit verification review and process for retail stores as needed
  • Responsible for coordinating with Audit on activities related to quarterly/yearly external and internal audit of debt and interest accruals
  • Maintain and coordinate department Blackline task and assignments
  • Budget preparation and tracking
    • Coordinate preparation of annual Treasury budget including department expenses, bank fees and interest expense by segments
    • Periodic tracking and analysis of actuals vs. budget
    • Analyze and benchmark bank fees across segments
  • Maintain library of intercompany loan documents across all segments
  • Provide backup to Assistant Treasurer and assist with other ad-hoc reporting as needed

 

Requirements 

  • General ledger experience calculating accruals and general reconciliation experience
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and Word
  • SAP Knowledge preferred
  • Organization skills in a paperless environment
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting
