Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.


The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.


The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Postion Overview



This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a new Master Data Services discipline, within Enterprise. This includes partnering with internal data owners and customers as well as external vendors and partners to identify opportunities to: drive out internal costs and inefficiencies by improving Master Data Management (MDM) data quality to end users throughout the enterprise and ensure MDM data integrity and consistency across the organization’s business units by developing and implementing enriched data governance, tools and practices.



• Serve as the lead MDM representative on enterprise-wide projects. Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and functional teams on identifying master data improvements. Lead these initiatives through completion, (from initial concept, design phase, change management, roll out and monitoring).

• Accountable for the creation, management and maintenance of the department’s Data Governance activities. Including developing a structural framework for decision-making rights and responsibilities regarding the use of the master data.

• Play an instrumental role in helping to frame the enterprise-wide master data architecture and data strategy  – this includes identifying the core data elements, data classification standards and overall strategy for sharing and enabling access to critical data across the enterprise;

• Aligning with partner IT functions and business operations to ensure master data management strategy is supportive of long-term business and technology strategic direction

• Serve as a department lead for the master data’s lifecycle engaging with the Business Process Management Team (BPM). Identify and recommend new or revised tools to meet the evolving enterprise’s master business data needs.

• Determine project key performance indicators on a regular basis, demonstrating before and after data improvement outcomes and realized values.




  • Capable of holding team and individuals accountable to deliverables and timelines with & without direct reporting responsibilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, someone who is an engaging storyteller and is at ease presenting to executives.  
  • Blend of both strategic and tactical thinking, someone who can identify and prioritize opportunities in highly ambiguous contexts, and then organize the body of work in deep detail, thus aligning long-term vision with iterative execution. 
  • Material knowledge of IT systems, processes and capabilities. 
  • Maintain a substantial knowledge of core business strategies, product lines, and mission critical systems. 
  • Strong qualitative background to support data-informed decision-making. 
  • Maintains a sense of urgency with self and the team to drive results. 


Required Experience 


• Solid understanding of MDM processes, Data Governance principles and tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong ability to lead projects and influence others towards a common goal

• Capable of independently creating and analyzing data, performing error resolution and making business decisions.

• Ability to solve practical problems in situations where only limited standardization and ambiguity exists.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.

• Knowledge and experience with SAP.

• Strong knowledge of data analysis skills, using Business Objects, Cognos or other Data Warehouse tools and a working knowledge of relational databases and various database query techniques, such as SQL.

• Experience working in complex manufacturing or energy sector MDM related roles.
