Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.


The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.


The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Position Summary 

This role will be responsible for representing accounting in the development, testing and roll-out of process improvements, new financial systems and enhancements to existing financial systems.  This person will represent the Accounting Department in inter-departmental meetings with competing interests in terms of conceptual needs, detailed design, resource allocation, testing methodology and go-live decisions.  The person must have a deep understanding of the capabilities, limitations and needs of the Accounting Department in order to adequately represent their interests.  The person should have a deep understanding of accounting aspects of ERP, consolidation and reporting, tax, payroll, and other ad-hoc financial systems in order to understand the best outcome that is achievable.



  • Act as a dedicated Business representative involved in managing a transformation portfolio of projects and driving them to successful execution
  • Provide oversight on initiation, planning, definition, development, testing and deployment cycles of individual projects
  • Proactively identify opportunities and generate ideas for process/policy/system improvements within the accounting organization
  • Possesses excellent listening and speaking skills in group discussions
  • Possesses the ability to find practical solutions that achieve transformational change balanced with time and cost limitations
  • Possesses the ability to gather facts and knowledge in order to perform detailed system architecture work independently
  • Possesses the ability to present written materials to small and medium sized groups
  • Possesses the ability to develop comprehensive training plans and materials
  • Possesses sound professional judgement on when developing issues need to be brought to the attention of supervisors



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years or more of professional accounting experience
  • Experience with Accounting System Implementations
  • CPA is prefered
  • Master's Degree Preferred
