Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.


The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.


The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Are you a natural storyteller with the ability to make connections quickly? Do you thrive in a work environment that is fast paced and results oriented? Delek US is seeking an Employer Branding Strategist who will help us develop a strong employment brand that attracts top talent.


As an Employment Branding Strategist, you will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and other cross functional teams to develop, and execute resilient employment branding strategies to make Delek US an ‘employer of choice’.  As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness by promoting Delek US through various media channels and developing communications to drive candidate attraction and engagement, such as communicating the story of our company, tracking feedback, and representing the brand at community events.


To excel in this role, you will have excellent communication and networking skills, a strong background in social media and branding, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.  This position is located in our corporate office in Brentwood, TN and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition.


The ideal Employment Branding Strategist will:


  • Build employment brand strategies in alignment with Delek US brand standards and resources through Social Platforms and tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Company Career Site, Branding Partners, Employee Communications, and our Applicant Tracking System. 
  • Define, develop and drive our public messaging and that will serve as the foundation for our employment brand by working closely with internal stakeholders and branding partners to create interesting and informational content to attract top talent.
  • Culture Messaging: Works closely with Talent Management & Development and Brand Marketing to ensure the culture message is consistently and appropriately shared externally. Includes educating all who recruit. 
  • Own, develop, and drive meaningful traffic and positive action on our Delek US Careers website – make it the central hub for all recruiting and employment branding for the company.
  • Research, develop, implement and measure innovative marketing strategies across many mediums and channels to elevate our online and offline presence to reach and engage candidates.
  • Project manage the development and localization of recruitment marketing toolkits and collateral in partnership with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure effective and consistent use across the organization.
  • Develop and manage an events calendar with strong attendance to maximize our impact in hiring top talent. Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Field HR and Business Leaders to develop targeting of events for particular roles.
  • Be the driving force to keep our social media and online presence fresh and active (and most importantly effective in attracting top talent). Engage branding partners and broader Delek population in expanding the reach of our employment brand and talent recruitment efforts
  • Establish a clear content strategy, creating and curating authentic, compelling content and messaging (landing pages, videos, blogs, career sites, etc.)
  • Be the steward for applying for employment branding awards on behalf of Delek US to be recognized for our efforts.
  • Oversight of day to day activities of all employment focused Social & Digital Media assets to ensure it is fully integrated with organizational initiatives and applicable for local markets
  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of our employment brand efforts through metrics, campaigns, and continuously iterate and improve upon our employment brand.


To be considered for the Employment Branding Strategist role, you must have:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field;
  • 5+ years’ experience in an Employer Branding, Brand/Marketing Strategist, Digital Marketer, or other relevant function;
  • 2+ years’ experience executing, project managing, or creating copy for branding campaigns;
  • Proven track record of developing core messaging, positioning, and value proposition materials;
  • Proven ability in producing outstanding results through effective relationship management, influencing, collaboration and partnership with key HR and business stakeholders (both executive and line). Ability to influence without direct authority;
  • Proven track record in developing social media marketing campaigns and driving community engagement;
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, strategically, and operationally with strong analytical skills;
  • Adept at functioning in dynamic environments, able to identify and prioritize tasks, handle multiple on-going projects, be flexible to change and able to juggle shifting priorities;
  • Previous use of tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords & Facebook Ads;
  • Successful track record of providing strategic web and digital recommendations that move the business forward;
  • Experience creating employee- and employer-centric content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter;
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success;
  • Demonstrated discretion and great judgment, with the ability to interact comfortably and professionally with all levels of candidates and internal clients;
  • Excellent communication, written, interpersonal, and client service skills;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word);
  • 2+ years of experience within a Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, or related discipline – preferred;
  • Experience with University or Intern Recruitment – preferred;
  • Google Analytics/AdWords Certification, preferred
