Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.


The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.


The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.


The Director, Refined Products Trading uses experience in the industry and knowledge of markets to create value from the natural positions that exist in our refinery systems through market positions and by working with the refinery teams to best utilize our refinery products streams.  The best fit for this role will be a person who is committed to growing the organization while creating value in the refined products space by developing new business initiatives while being a Commercial advocate with our internal partners. The candidate will have experience in trading market hubs for refined products as well as an understanding of the USGC, NYH, USEC, and Mid-Con markets and an understanding of the refining process and valuation of unfinished gasoline and distillate components.



  • Develop and manage domestic and international customer relationships to ensure uninterrupted refinery operations and wholesale supply
  • Contribute new ideas to reduce costs and improve margin
  • Facilitate new delivery development, qualification, and implementation, by proactively interacting with Clients, Refining, Transportation, etc.
  • Develop risk management strategies to mitigate risk in all trading and supply activities
  • Identify new business development initiatives in line with agreed company strategy
  • Manage contract administration for refined products as needed.
  • Manage scheduling for refined products as needed
  • Manage daily P&L exposure through market positioning while making market calls through forward positioning
  • Champion commercial and trading initiatives to drive additional margin both with internal systems and with new business
  • A Commercial representative for internal partners in Shared Services including Finance, Accounting, and Logistics
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years of market experience in petroleum product trading
  • Proven profitable results
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Prior interaction with trading teams
  • Strong project management and analytical skills, paying close attention to detail
  • A multi-tasker that possess proven time management abilities, and a capacity to work in a time sensitive environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to build partnerships and work cross functionally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
  • Displays sound business judgment and strong personal integrity
