Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

 

The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.

 

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Role Summary

The role of Contract Management Paralegal will be responsible for the contract administration and paralegal support for the Commercial organization.  This role exhibits a professional disposition to create and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. The Contract Management Paralegal coordinates and manages contracts driven by the Commercial organization.

 

Job Accountabilities

  • Will be reviewing and monitoring of contract performance and compliance, recommending improvements and innovations to oversight of contract process and ensuring contract accuracy.
  • Manage contract workflow in conjunction with Company’s contract policy.
  • Maintain the contract management workflow environment.
  • Ensure all fully-executed contracts are properly stored in the electronic contract repository.
  • Prepare summaries of substantive terms contained in contracts.
  • Publish reports for accounting and audit purposes.
  • Monitor contract expiration and renewal deadlines.
  • Review fully-executed contracts to ensure compliance with Company’s contract policy requirements.
  • Participate in work group meetings providing input on workflow and communication issues.
  • Provide input and instruction to all functions to support the ongoing contract management process.
  • Represent the company in a manner consistent with policy and procedure at all conventions and key customer gatherings.
  • Other duties maybe assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting or engineering discipline preferred.
  • Two years (2) of experience in contract management or related function.
  • Must possess proven business judgement
  • Experience dealing with contract management processes and systems preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate well between departments, developing a team approach to contract management execution with the entire organization. Customer Service Driven.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Publisher, and SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, customers and external partners

  • Must pass drug test and background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

 

 

Desired Characteristics

  • Three (3) years of experience in a contract management and paralegal role
