We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining and logistics.

  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

JOB SUMMARY

Plays a key role in optimizing Delek’s refinery, pipeline, and logistics assets through strategic marketing of physical commodities across key market locations. Cultivates and manages business relationships, identifies new commercial opportunities, and supports the execution of energy transactions within the broader Commercial organization.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • One (1) or more years If Crude marketing: experience in crude marketing analytics, scheduling or other commercial crude activities (Required)

  • One (1) or more years If product marketing: experience in refined product marketing analytics, scheduling, division of interest processing, or other finished product activities (Required)

  • One (1) or more years If asphalt marketing: experience in asphalt / energy industry (Required)

  • Two (2) or more years Experience in related field (Required)

  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • If asphalt marketing must have general knowledge of energy, construction, paving and roofing in North America

  • Manages the commercial business relationship with existing customers, prospects new customer accounts and develops new business within existing customer relationships

  • Participates in the development of strategies to increase market share and grow commercial value in new and existing markets

  • Collaborates in sales and marketing initiatives, program execution, and promotes new product offerings that create value

  • Negotiates short- and long-term commercial deals and conducts review of all existing contracts ensuring favorable contract renewals

  • Prepares and validates reports of portfolio position and profit/loss

  • Ensures contract administration in accordance with internal policies

  • Collects and shares market intelligence to benefit decision making for internal business partners

  • Identifies business process improvement ideas that create internal process efficiencies and/or reduce transactional or administrative costs for customers

  • Researches & resolves pricing and payment issues while addressing deal-related discrepancies

  • Actively participates in industry associations, conferences, and customer events

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • If Crude marketing: collaborates with key counterparts, including producers, pipeline operators, trucking companies, and other refiners to support crude oil marketing business

  • If asphalt marketing: possess a foundational understanding of asphalt, roofing & industrial, sales strategies, logistics operations, and process improvement methodologies to ensure the organization can achieve their strategic financial objectives

  • If Asphalt marketing: supports the growth of Asphalt (paving, roofing & industrial) and service sales by identifying prospects, building relationships, and providing excellent customer service

  • If Product Marketing: possess a foundational understanding of paving, roofing & industrial components to ensure the organization can achieve their strategic financial objectives
