Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

 

The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.

 

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Position Summary 

Lease Crude Representative - position will be responsible for expanding commercial activity in Oklahoma and the Anadarko Basin through combination of lease and bulk purchases/sales in order to supply crude needs to any of Delek’s (4) Refineries. Work with scheduling and operations in order to support lease & trading strategy and positions. This person will need to prospect and perform associated business development activities and establish long-term relationships with key customers and other industry people. This is a role where teamwork is critical, and which requires flexibility and adaptability. It requires someone with a strong initiative, drive, business acumen, analytical capacity, and creativity.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Build relationships with existing and potential key customers and service providers.
  • Negotiate and administer commercial agreements with producers and trade partners.
  • Handle Pricing and Payment issues with Division Order & Accounting groups.
  • Develop plans and priorities with Transportation Group that maximize customer service.
  • Familiar with all aspects of crude pricing (Nymex, Postings, various Grades)
  • Familiar with Permian Basin pipelines, movements, tariffs etc.
  • Prepare routine reports, presentations and other special projects as required.
  • Occasional visits to field, refineries, customers and customer outings
  • Required to respond to business situations after hours, on weekends and holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • BBA/BS in Business or related discipline
  • 3-5 years Oil & Gas industry experience required; Marketing or other commercial experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers across a wide range of disciplines Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and make sound business decisions quickly
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel)
