Retail District Manager

Job Summary: Responsible for on-going activities related to the successful operation of a retail store. Ensures inventory is stocked, and maintains the cleanliness of the store. Provides customer service and engages in financial transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
-responsible for overall operations of the stores in the district including sales, administrative duties, net profit, managing company property, merchandising, store budgeting, personnel management and staffing and scheduling.

-responsible for motivating and maintaining qualified store employees for each of their assigned stores.
-responsible for ensuring that the store manager schedules employees in their store and ensuring that each employee's time is submitted weekly to the payroll department.
Required Qualifications –
Education, Skills & Experience:
Typical Minimum Requirements: More than 5 years of store management experience.

-College degree from 4 year accredited institution
-Multi-site management experience (5 plus locations)
-Solid command of all +N46+N39

Job Competencies:
District Manager - Manages and has accountability for the performance and results of multiple retail stores within a district. Adapts plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans. Receives guidance on complex operational and HR issues from the manager. Provides guidance to store managers. Primary Responsibilities: Applies broad knowledge of retail store operations, financial acumen, and sound knowledge of laws and regulations to ensure the success of multiple retail stores.
