Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

 

The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.

 

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

The Crude Oil Supervisor will oversee activities of crude oil gathering to ensure safe and efficient operations. 

Description and Responsibilities

  • Uses sound business disciplines to generate maximum revenue and profits while operating in an efficient manner, meet the safety and performance standards and goals set forth by the company, customers, and regulating authorities
  • Employs effectiveness and efficiency in Crude Oil Operation
  • Manages trucking operations, maintenance, and human resources for truck stations/hubs in a geographic area
  • Ensures all drivers and equipment meets or exceeds Department of Transportation and all other regulatory agencies regulations
  • Ensures all drivers receive all training and equipment necessary to properly test crude oil to Delek US and API standards
  • Verifies hand written tickets are accurate, and submits to the office in a timely manner
  • Conducts regular safety and equipment inspections as well as unannounced safety follows (day and night shifts)
  • On-boards of all new drivers
  • Holds individuals in assigned group accountable for achieving results
  • Trains, or provides training to direct reports to perform their assigned tasks and oversee for all team members.  Responsible to provide annual/periodical reviews for all direct reports and oversee process for all team members
  • Performs periodic audits to ensure drivers are purchasing crude to Delek US and API standards
  • Manages time and attendance
  • Initiates contact and build relationships with pumpers and customers.
  • Ensure that customer and organizational needs are met
  • Assure that assigned operation sizing covers all needs associated with servicing customer-related and organizational needs.  Recommend headcount changes if business warrants it
  • Supports and assists with implementing Safety Program maintaining Company and Company driver’s compliance, above standard with Department of Transportation Regulation.
  • Assists Safety Manager with monthly safety meetings; and conducting and managing accident investigations
  • Assists in managing uniforms, and other supplies used in daily transportation operation
  • Partners and help to ensure maintenance program is successfully implemented in area, that equipment is properly maintained and equipment availability impact on operations is minimized.
  • Partners with Customer Service Team to ensure that operations run efficiently supporting customers, drivers, and organizational goal
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Crude Oil Services
  • The position will be based in the Crude Oil Operations area and will require 10-20% overnight travel at times and reports to the Manager of Crude Oil Transportation Services
  • Requirements – Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the assigned geographic area
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, Class A CDL preferred
  • Must be willing to be “on call” after hours and work some scheduled nights
  • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and possess good communication skills
  • Must be able to lead a team to ensure high-quality service to producers and operators
