Warehouse Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing and managing movement of materials, inventories levels, cycle counts, utilizing the warehouse inventory control system for all transactions, and maintaining the housekeeping of the warehouse. 

Job Accountabilities

• Perform all activities in a safe manner
• Performing part sourcing and inventory walk-down activities
• Documenting or scanning part checkout
• Receive shipments of materials, supplies, parts, equipment and all other merchandise in to the warehouse
• Document and track shipment discrepancies
• Conduct incoming materials inspections on warehouse shipments
• Performing cycle counts and other inventory control procedures
• Perform all warehouse housekeeping activities
• Delivering materials, supplies, parts, equipment and all other merchandise to all facility locations
• Identify and label warehouse merchandise and storage locations
• Manage outgoing shipments
• Maintain stock inventory, rotation and levels
• Process all part returns
• Utilize warehouse scanner and software systems
• Inventorying and kitting materials for jobs, shutdowns, outages and turnarounds
• Performing database/warehouse inventory reconciliation activities
• Organizing inventories
• Stock new merchandise and restock returned merchandise
• Complete and maintain all merchandise documentation
• Identify and printing MTR’s
• Other duties as assigned  

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Minimum Required Experience:

• 2 years

Certifications/Licenses Required:

• Forklift
