  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day
  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.
  • Our three renewables’ plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi combined can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.

JOB SUMMARY

Analyzes large quantities of data and develops reports on the overall performance of business segments; develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the business | Combines a good level of understanding on how business operates with analytical ability to sift effectively through data available, overlaying all this with the technical competency to illustrate this analysis to senior level stakeholders and the wider business | Models advanced methods of combining charts, maps, timelines and infographics into comprehensible dashboards; may create visualizations of complex relationships and big data sets in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate business decision making

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) or more years Process engineering, planning experience in refining industry (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

Provides on call support outside of regular business hours; including ability to work remotely as needed , Will be required to monitor refinery status and scheduling and make adjusts as needed; including weekends, based on business need, Must provide coverage for counterparts (e.g., vacation, PTO, etc.) to ensure business continuity , Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, hearing protection, respirator)

  • Develops and maintains key performance metrics that track refinery attainment of planned operational targets and optimal margin capture
  • Identifies process constraints and identifies opportunities to relieve these constraints
  • Provides unit rate tracking report for lost opportunity report
  • Serves as steward of blend giveaway reports; providing insight and gap closures
  • Works with refining and commercial to analyze opportunities to enhance refinery profitability
  • Assists with evaluation of the economic feasibility of projects assigned by providing related information in a timely manner
  • Conducts studies on effects of operating variables on product quality, yield and profitability
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of various refining technologies
  • Participates mitigating and assisting in unplanned business interruption services
  • May assist in incident investigations for assigned areas (e.g., oils movement, planning/scheduling, etc.)
  • Manages oil inventories
  • Responsible for gasoline blending
  • Sets operational targets
