  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

JOB SUMMARY

Leads turnaround project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management | Ensures that turnarounds are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards | Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members | Ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time | Interfaces between the project team, construction site and management | Gains organizational alignment and support required to complete turnaround preparation | Guides the organization through Delek’s TPEP turnaround work process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Eight (8) or more years’ experience in Turnaround (Required)
  • 3 or more years of Turnaround management experience
  • Proven leadership in managing full-scope turnarounds or projects with budgets exceeding $25M+ (Preferred $75M+)
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar (Preferred)
  • Experience with turnaround tools and software (Primavera, SAP, IPS, etc.)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

  • Develop and manage multi-million-dollar turnaround budgets and schedules using industry tools, such as Primavera (P6) scheduling software

  • Develop, institute and maintain the planning, scheduling, estimating, and controls practices for agreement by Core team
  • Participate in development of turnaround project risk and appropriate mitigation plans
  • Ensure execution plans are developed and maintained for document control, cost and schedule management, and change management
  • Participate in the development of the integrated event schedule, and champion optimizing the critical path to minimum downtime while meeting project objectives
  • Incorporate the Core team agreed plans and schedule into an AFE commitment for estimate and schedule, and lead turnaround team in forecasting final results
  • Lead cross-functional teams and third-party contractors
  • Oversee contractor prequalification, bid review, and vendor selection
  • Implement risk management strategies to address schedule delays, cost overruns, or quality issues
