Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

 

The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.

 

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Job Summary:
Conducts safety audits of buildings, facilities, tools and equipment. Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes. Investigates accidents to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factors. Develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of government safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
-Lead and manages Refinery safety programs to foster strong safety culture
-Develop, implement and maintain strategies for industrial, fire and occupational safety including policies, procedures and process safety management systems to identify and reduce/eliminate hazard exposures
-Implement and maintain occupational safety compliance and assurance program to effectively monitor, measure and assess safety performance and conformance with regulatory requirements, occupational safety standards and programs
-Lead site audits and inspections and communicates findings and uses analyses to design and implement continuous improvement strategies.
-Monitor emerging safety issues throughout the Industry and initiate proactive gap closure actions of industry best practices

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
At least 5 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
