Engineering Technician - El Dorado, AR

Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Job Summary:
Performs a broad range engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments. Incumbents may have specialized knowledge in one or more disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:
-Thorough knowledge of ArcGIS, aligmnet sheets, .kmz files, GPS coordinates, P&ID's, HDD profiles, and topographical maps.
-Knowledge of basic surveying techniques, GPS software, and equipment such as Pathfinder, Trimble GeoXH, and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Knowledge of utilities, construction, inspection, and excavation.
-Ability to determine, calculate, tabulate, and/or summarize data.

-Knowledge of Emergency Response procedures

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
2 years of related experience. A Bachelor's or technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

Organizational Leveling:
Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes. Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise. Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods. Works with a moderate degree of supervision.

Technical Skills:

Must meet the requirements of Company Operator Qualification Program and performed required covered tasks.
