The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is a member of the Delek Logistics Technical Services group and is responsible for reviewing documentation to ensure pipeline regulatory compliance and audit preparedness in their region.  This position affords a unique ability to regularly interact with Supervision, Field Operations, multiple Process departments, ROW Clearing Contractors, Inspectors, and Regulatory Authorities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These are the most significant job duties performed; other responsibilities or assignments not specifically mentioned may also be assigned.

  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for Pipeline Regulatory Compliance, specifically DOT 192, 195, TRRC & NMPRC (comprehensive, safety, OQ, CRM, D&A).
  • Onsite internal compliance audits in area of responsibility, as well as help with audits in other areas as necessary. These can be during hot or cold conditions wearing necessary safety equipment to be compliant according to Delek standards and policies.
  • Learn standards for regulatory compliance & Delek procedures and be able to identify areas of concern and address them as necessary. Follow through with action items to be sure they are completed.
  • Review and support document management to ensure accurate completion, filing and retention for supported assets.
  • Assist Compliance Director during regulatory audits and become a key member of the audit team for Delek Logistics.
  • Review of all compliance manuals, including O & M Manual, Safety Manual, Emergency Response Manual, Facility Response Manual, and OQ Training documents ensuring Delek maintains compliance and proper documentation. This includes getting input from department subject matter experts for each manual.
  • Champion effective ROW management for assigned geographical area
  • Apply findings from one area or asset system to others and communicate to ensure that corrective actions are applied across the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required Education: 

High School Diploma / GED 

 

Minimum Required Experience: 

Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or maintenance procedures.

Must have knowledge of safe operating procedures and safe work practices for all equipment used.

Must maintain a good working relationship with company employees, contractors, and customers. 

Excellent computer skills, inclusive of sound working knowledge of MS Office applications.

 

Certifications/Licenses Required (If Applicable): 

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass drug test and background check
  • Must be Legally Authorized­ to Work in the United States

  

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Desirable/Preferred Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering discipline preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Desired/Preferred Experience: 

  • Seven years of experience, two of which should be in pipeline compliance.

Depending on location filled some overnight travel required up to 40%
