At OXXO USA, we’re not just in the business of convenience—we’re building a workplace where people feel supported, heard, and empowered to grow. With a fast-growing footprint across the U.S., our success is powered by our team members and the culture we create together.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist who thrives on being of service—to our employees, to our store leaders, and to the broader business. In this role, you'll be a go-to resource for employee support and guidance, focused on building strong relationships, encouraging positive workplace culture, and ensuring our HR practices are understood, accessible, and aligned with our values.
You’ll support stores and field leaders by providing hands-on HR assistance—traveling to store locations regularly to offer personalized support and ensure our teams feel connected to the broader HR function. While this role does involve upholding policies and procedures, the heart of it is about helping people succeed in their roles while maintaining fairness and clarity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to store teams by offering friendly, practical HR support both virtually and through market travel to store locations
- Address employee questions, concerns, and workplace matters with a service-first approach—focusing on solutions, empathy, and fair application of company policies
- Help store leaders understand and apply HR policies, while reinforcing the why behind our practices and how they support our shared goals
- Assist with employee relations cases, workplace complaints, and investigations with professionalism, discretion, and a problem-solving mindset
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure legal and policy compliance while keeping communication transparent and people-focused
- Support new initiatives including onboarding, training support, policy refreshes, and employee engagement activities
- Help with recruitment tasks as needed—job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication—to ensure we’re hiring great talent
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and contribute to an organized and responsive HR operation
- Bring energy, ideas, and curiosity to HR team meetings and ongoing projects aimed at improving the employee experience
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of HR experience in a people-focused environment
- Friendly, clear communicator who’s great at listening, building trust, and offering guidance
- A natural problem solver with strong follow-through and a service-first attitude
- Basic understanding of HR laws, with the willingness to learn and grow in a fast-moving business
- Comfort with managing sensitive information confidentially and professionally
- Willingness to travel to stores and spend time with field teams regularly
Why Join OXXO USA

- Travel to stores and build direct relationships with the people you support
- Grow your career in a company that values innovation, integrity, and employee development
- Competitive compensation, travel reimbursement, and a full benefits package
- A culture that celebrates teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement
