Area Sales Manager - Southeast Region

The Area Manager is the person in charge of managing Delek’s key relationships with its branded wholesale business. They are in charge of building long-term relationships with assigned customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company.  Area managers may be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales, logistics, and marketing.


This role is 100% remote with the right candidate being based in the Nashville, TN / Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC


Job Description:


  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Prospect and secure new Distributors and new Distributor branded accounts.
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts.
  • Makes sure customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
  • Communicates customer needs and demands to Delek management.
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics.
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing customers.
  • As part of the sales team, collaborate with management team to reach prospective customers.
  • Monitor, review, and negotiate contracts for management approval to meet sales and profit objectives; including maintaining ratable contract sale Participate in approved state and regional activities that are pertinent to our industry and of benefit to Delek US.
  • High level of knowledge in branded gasoline and distributor sales experience preferred
  • Clear understanding of business-to-business sales relationships
  • Superior critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Ability to travel (up to 75%)
  • Open to relocation (Nashville, Atlanta or Charlotte)
