Treasury, Lead Cash Manager

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

 

Lead Cash Manager

The Delek Treasury team has an immediate opening for a highly qualified and motivated candidate for a great opportunity.  Along with two experienced treasury analysts, the candidate will lead all cash management activities for the company and will manage workflow tools and processes to ensure seamless execution of treasury strategies. The candidate will have multinational experience using a large scale ERP platform and will need to develop strong relationships across the company, including finance, tax and legal teams to ensure delivery of the Treasury strategy as well as provide support for business decisions.

 

 

Description & Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory responsibilities include leading a team of two treasury analysts
  • Analyzes and manages incoming and outgoing cash effectively on a daily basis
  • Ensures adequate liquidity across the company and manages working capital
  • Executes funds transfer and transfers to/from investments
  • Performs daily cash reconciliations and monitors bank accounts for unusual items
  • Administers short-term investments
  • Help implement investment strategy through ongoing portfolio management, asset allocation, and duration studies
  • Leads the development of KPI reports for liquidity and cash operations
  • Works closely with the cash forecasting team to report cash and other financial data
  • Develops and maintains treasury policies and procedures for cash management and payments to ensure compliance with Delek’s internal control framework
  • Compiles and analyzes treasury information to meet monthly, quarterly, fiscal year end management reporting, and external auditor requirements
  • Identifies and leads the implementation of treasury best practices
  • Reviews bank account structures and makes recommendations to optimize and simplify cash transfers and reduce the number of bank accounts
  • Along with the banking manager, liaises with banks to address any account issues and queries
  • Assists with the design and implementation of the SAP treasury management platform
  • Leads deployment of TMS functionality and organizational process change to facilitate automation and adoption of best practices for cash management and payment processing

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of multinational treasury experience with at least 3 years in a leadership position
  • Track record of improving processes, leading projects and influencing decision-makers
  • Experience implementing a large scale ERP treasury platform
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and tasks
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; adeptly interact across departments and management levels
  • Curious, energetic, motivated and team-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
