We are hiring for the position of Sr Payroll Analyst - SAP located in our Brentwood, TN corporate headquarters – hybrid schedule.

 

The Sr. Payroll Analyst – SAP will report to the Sr. Manager, Payroll and will partners with our vendor to prepare, document, and disburse employee payrolls, payroll taxes, garnishments, and employee benefit payments

Job Summary:
Evaluates current processes and recommends and develops operating efficiency improvements. Monitors and ensures proper reporting and taxation of employee benefit payments. Prepares reports illustrating payroll activity, including such items as wage and hour, tax payments and benefit plan disbursements. Provides requirements for new and updated system configurations. Executes user acceptance testing of new and updated system configurations. Consults on the tax implications of wage and benefit types. Responds to payroll related inquiries from senior management, other departments, and individuals at all levels of the organization

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle confidential information with integrity and the highest degree of confidentiality

- Processing the end-to-end payroll utilizing SAP payroll software while partnering with vendors and utilizing time information interfaced from Kronos.

- Maintain payroll metrics and appropriate supporting documentation to support SOX and internal/external audits

- Supporting audits by working with other departments as needed, communicating remediation issues and documenting and overseeing resolution plans

- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of all company payroll. Processing corrections and adjustments as necessary.

- Assist in developing and overseeing pre and post payroll process audits.

- Responding to inquiries from government agencies.

- Assist in resolving incoming research cases for the Payroll Team while taking ownership of high profile and escalated payroll cases to ensure accurate and timely resolution.

- Maintains complete and accurate documentation of payroll procedures updating and creating new documents as necessary.

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

- At least 5 years of related experience.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

- SAP Payroll, Employee Central Payroll, or ADP Globalview experience required.

Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

- 7+ years of payroll experience

- Payroll Control Center experience preferred

- CPP, preferred

Organizational Leveling:
Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Solves complex problems. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. Acts as a resource for those with less experience. Level at which career may stabilize for many years or until retirement.
