Senior Business Analyst - SAP

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Role Summary:

This role will reside in the Corporate Accounting group, in Brentwood, TN, reporting to the Financial Controls, Process & Systems Manager and is responsible for the administration for a portion of the Company’s SAP financial systems.  This position will collaborate and interact with the finance, accounting, business and IT communities, and may require some/limited travel.


Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Delek US Holdings’ business activities.
  • Serve as the technical SAP finance and controlling specialist dedicated to support Accounting.
  • Have garnered business and process knowledge in diverse industry sectors such as Chemical, Rail Transport, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Beverages, etc…

  • Develop SAP finance configuration improvements for intercompany transactions and eliminations.
  • Supports SAP finance master data / chart of accounts improvements.
  • Facilitate meetings with accounting to understand current and future SAP finance system needs, gather and document requirements, and explore potential solutions with internal and external partners.
  • Provide input into developing and modifying SAP finance configuration and supporting processes to meet Accounting needs, and develops business requirements to support these modifications.
  • Acts as a liaison between Accounting and IT to facilitate the planning, design and implementation of SAP finance system configuration and process improvements. 
  • Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the SAP finance system in order to verify that Accounting requirements are incorporated in to the system design.
  • Assists in analyzing testing results in all phases.
  • Supports the administration of and master data updates for SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).
  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside peers for knowledge sharing and benchmarking.
  • Build and maintain influential working relationships with management, peers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in the energy industry a plus.
  • SAP experience required


Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related (foreign equiv. accepted).
  • 5 years of progressive experience with SAP.
  • Certified in S/4 Hana
