The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
Job Responsibilities:
-Provide application software development services in an Agile development environment.
-Manage and lead team of developers in making software architecture design decisions and decisions on problem-solving approaches.
-Develop program logic for new applications.
-Analyze and modify logic in existing applications.
-Code, test, debug, document, and implement complex software systems.
-Analyze requirements, tests and integrates application components.
-Perform root cause analysis.
-Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented.
-Test software code.
-Provide guidance in software development, change management, incident management processes, including documentation and record-keeping.
-Suggest improvements to our processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or Computer or Electronics Engineering.
-5 years of experience as Software, Systems or Applications Engineer, Developer or Analyst.
-The 5 years of experience must have involved end-to-end development in an Agile environment and work with networking hardware, software, and design concepts.
Travel Requirements-
-Up to 10% domestic travel required
