Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, asphalt, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day. The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek US Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates also own approximately 63 percent (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE: DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets. 

The asphalt operations consist of owned or operated asphalt terminals serving markets from Tennessee to the west coast through a combination of non-blended asphalt purchased from third parties and produced at the Big Spring, Texas and El Dorado, Arkansas refineries. The renewables operations will consist of plants in Texas and Arkansas that produce biodiesel fuel and a renewable diesel facility in California.

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores which also market motor fuels in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Job Summary:

Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Ensuring pick-ups and deliveries are made in accordance with service level targets.
  • Dispatching drivers and common carriers to appropriate pick-up and delivery locations.
  • Reconcile data received from 3rd party carriers daily against operational plans.
  • Complete daily and weekly operational reports.
  • Ideal candidate should possess strong people and problem solving skills.
  • Cover shifts as needed.  Transportation is 24 hours, 7 days a week / 365 days a year operation.
  • Answering a high volume of incoming calls.
  • Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

 

Requirements – Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Bachelor or equivalent experience.
  • Able to understand how different aspects of the supply chain interact with each other and then making decisions that optimize supply chain performance.
  • Maximize customer service and company profits through effective management of fuel inventories, drivers, trucks, and fuel supply network.
  • Excellent communication skills, working in a team oriented and deadline sensitive environment
  • Strong ability to multi-task. (phone, computer, in-person)
  • Able to effectively communicate with a number of different stakeholders and persuade to take action for the best benefit of the company.
  • Able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time. Position is desk based in a corporate office or work remotely from home in professional office environment.
  • Ability to cover shifts as needed. Transportation is 24 hours, 7 days a week / 365 days a year operation.
  • Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven ability to problem solve. Taking initiative, understand business opportunities, analyze to identify root cause, develop an appropriate solution, and successfully implement the solution.

  • Prefer experience or degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, inventory management
