JOB SUMMARY

Provides technical expertise in the network operation of a corporate network; Lead the design, engineering, implementation, administration and troubleshooting of new and existing network services/systems/solutions; Assessment and remediation of existing to ensure technical completeness.

The Network Architect should have advanced core competencies in route/switch, wireless, security and other enterprise network technologies. Ability to consult, design, implement, document and perform troubleshooting in these functional areas. This individual should possess great attention to detail and be able to execute on maintaining network operations, project deliverables, be a self-starter, require minimal supervision, and excellent communicator. The architect should show a true ownership of network services delivering high uptime for the Delek business.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Eight (8) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: (Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP))
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: (Other network vendor certificates, and certifications)

  • Lead the design, engineering, implementation, administration and troubleshooting of new and existing network services/systems/solutions, and assessment and remediation of existing to ensure technical completeness, reliability, and redundancy
  • Assist in solution development activities including cost analysis, Bill of Materials review, requirements gathering and Statement of Work evaluations
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring customer delivery is priority
  • Perform cooper and fiber Ethernet cabling and patching across network infrastructure
  • Perform code upgrades and manage Cisco file system operations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess needs, recommend network solutions and provide effort/cost estimates
  • Support project scoping and requirements for network initiatives
  • Work independently and collaboratively with team and managers to define, design, and deploy network solutions
  • Maintain, engineer and troubleshoot advanced network technologies, including fabric-based networking with Cisco ACI, intent-based networking with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISA, Palo Alto firewalls and Prisma, and F5 load balancers
  • Prepare detailed specifications and end-to-end Visio designs for implementation and support of network solutions
  • Participate in meetings, calls and general communications with stakeholders of all levels
  • Obtain and utilize appropriate products, vendors, and network architecture and support information
  • Understand and support the function of SD-WAN
  • Maintain and support cloud telephony environment
  • Collaborate with managed network vendors to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide Data Center On-call support; critical (P1) incidents
  • Deliver project technical and soft deliverables on schedule
  • Support and expand network operations for Delek business units
  • Create and maintain network documentation
  • Mentor senior and junior engineers
