Lead Middle Office Analyst

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

JOB SUMMARY

Has responsibility for a combination of activities in support of the trading effort (e.g., trade support, documentation) | Staff in middle office functions are likely to support complex product areas (e.g., fixed-income, equity derivatives) and have a greater degree of knowledge of their product area than staff performing other operations functions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
  • Preferred CertIfications/Licensures: (Risk professional certifications)

  • Utilizes problem solving skills to understand deal errors or anormalies in the portfolio that are inconsistent with market trends. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of thirdparty transactions.
  • Produce risk policy compliance tracking and identify variances to approved policies and procedures.  
  • Assess and evolve process and controls to accommodate a growing business strategy and creating efficiencies to handle increased transaction volume.
  • Collaborates with Commercial Operations, Middle Office, Accounting, Legal, and Management with seniorlevel analytical abilities in financial, volumetric, and risk reporting and analysis.
