JOB SUMMARY

The Data & Technology (IT) Intern  – Enterprise Applications will support initiatives that enhance the performance, efficiency, and governance of enterprise systems. Responsibilities include assisting with application support and testing, developing and maintaining technical and process documentation, supporting application rationalization assessments, and contributing to process improvement efforts.

The intern will collaborate with IT professionals and business partners to analyze current-state systems, identify redundancies or optimization opportunities, and support initiatives that simplify and strengthen the enterprise application portfolio. This role offers practical experience in enterprise system lifecycle management and exposure to how technology strategy aligns with business objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or similar technology degree
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with good academic standing
  • Availability to work 40 hours/per week during Summer Internship Program   
  • Basic knowledge of IT Equipment and Software 
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to record and present data in a clear and concise manner 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills 
  • Solid software application skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Good organizational & Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Willingness and desire for continual learning and self-development

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·       Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, user guides, support procedures, and technical specifications

·       Participate in requirements gathering, technical analysis, and solution design activities for enterprise systems under the guidance of experienced IT professionals.

·       Contribute to application rationalization initiatives by inventorying applications, analyzing usage and business value, and identifying consolidation or optimization opportunities.

·       Collaborate with IT team members and business stakeholders to translate business needs into system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Assist in identifying opportunities to improve system performance, streamline processes, and enhance overall user experience.

·       Support quality assurance activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation of results for new implementations and system enhancements.

·       Participate in incident management processes, including ticket tracking, coordination, and communication with internal and external support teams.

·       Work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams to support enterprise application performance and customer satisfaction.

·       Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.
