ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE – ENTRY LEVEL (GROWTH PATH TO MANAGER)
We are seeking a new or recent Accounting graduate to join our dynamic and high-performing accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in a collaborative environment with exposure to financial reporting, operations, and commercial accounting. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a future leadership role.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As an Accounting Associate, you’ll contribute to key functions that support Delek’s operations and financial reporting. Responsibilities will evolve as you gain experience and may include:

Assisting with monthly close processes and journal entries

Supporting the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and capital expenditure schedules

Recording and analyzing financial transactions per US GAAP

Participating in the development of internal and external reports

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Learning inventory tracking and refining specific accounting processes
-
Supporting audit activities and internal control testing
-
Collaborating across teams, including commercial, refinery, and finance functions
-
Gaining experience with accounting systems and tools, including Excel, Power BI, and ERP platforms

Building leadership and mentorship skills as part of your development toward a managerial track
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (graduated within the last 0–1 years)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Prior internship or co-op experience in accounting is a plus
