Title: Senior Accountant OR Supervisor, Corporate Accounting & Consolidations
Location: Brentwood, TN (Hybrid)
Department: Corporate Accounting
Reports to: Director, Corporate Accounting

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a high-performing accounting professional to join our Corporate Accounting and Consolidations team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong public accounting background, experience in SEC reporting or public company audits, and a high level of discipline and attention to detail. This role is tailored for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and are passionate about accuracy, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

The level of the role (Senior Accountant or Supervisor) will be determined based on the candidate's experience and alignment with our team’s needs.

All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Delek US. Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including internal reporting packages and supporting schedules.

  • Assist in the preparation and/or review of SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other external financial statements and footnotes.

  • Support technical accounting research and the implementation of new accounting standards.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation activities.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including FP&A, Treasury, and Legal, to support accurate financial reporting.

  • Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.

  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the close and reporting process.

  • Mentor junior staff and guide peers as appropriate based on experience level.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • CPA or CPA eligible strongly preferred

  • 2–5+ years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred)

  • Experience with SEC reporting or public company audit clients

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts

  • High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, or a publicly traded company

  • Experience using Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems

  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-accounting audiences
