- Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

JOB SUMMARY
Analyzes environmental conditions and recommends changes to prevent or eliminate dangerous substances and materials. Ensures compliance with regulatory agency policies, including government legislation pertaining to the preservation of the environment. Develops, designs and may operate gauging equipment to determine the amounts of toxic pollutants present in air, land and water to ensure compliance with regulatory agency policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
- No Licensure or Certification Required.

Physical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including climbing of stairs, ladders and in confined spaces, Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, hearing protection, respirator)
- Supports refinery with compliance for multiple complex environmental areas of focus.
- Leads complex interactions with regulatory agencies and prepare related documentation.
- Develops training materials and delivers training for Operations and Maintenance personnel on environmental aspects; designs tools/resources to proactively monitor compliance.
- Makes recommendations and develops progras to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Leads complicated permitting efforts.
- Provides direction to consultants and contractors assigned to activities related to conducting calculations, permitting, applications and other applicable documentation to drive desired results
- Will work on other related environmental activities for specialized areas of focus
- Occasionally within shift (1-33%): Climbing
