Sr Director, Reliability

JOB SUMMARY

This role works with the Refinery Maintenance & Reliability Departments to identify opportunities to improve performance through the improvement of current reliability and maintenance processes, the evaluation of mechanical improvements, and participation in root cause failure analysis and defect elimination. This includes development of best practices in equipment design, personnel training, quality assurance, and overall process workflow.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Eight (8) or more years Management experience (Required)
• Fifteen (15) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
• No Licensure or Certification Required.

• Oversees administration of RAMS Maintenance work processes and procedures; jointly owned with SME organization
• Owner of Reliability-related training materials (e.g. Maintenance Strategy sessions, Mechanical Integrity, use of Practices, Investigation / RCFA process, PWR & RBWS)
• Single-Point-Of-Contact (SPOC) at HQ for site Reliability Managers; support developmental needs, evaluate performance, and help with training, coaching, mentoring
• Leads SPOC for Corporate IT in CMMS activities, improvements, reporting standardization
• Company’s lead Maintenance Strategy sessions facilitator and associated outputs standardization (PM / PdM implementation, spare parts strategies, one-time improvement tasks)
• Lead for reliability-related site assessments and overall assessment schedule (Mechanical Integrity, Equipment Strategies, RAMS)
• Mechanical Integrity and Reliability Best Practice Network Administrator for the site
• Reliability work process development and implementation
• o Including critical equipment identification and maintenance of o Critical spare sparts list o Updated BOMs/MMs o Reliability PM development o Reliability round development o Maintain and update Bad actor list for site
• Support for non-reliability site assessments (Workforce planning)
• Supports Procurement efforts in supplier and contractor evaluations
