JOB SUMMARY

The Fixed Equipment Data Specialist (FEDS) will provide analysis and administration support for the Fixed Equipment Reliability Inspection department. This position will work with the Chief Inspector, Area Inspectors, Contract Inspectors and Reliability personnel. FEDS shall also interface with Operations, Procurement, and other Key Stakeholder groups to gain an understanding of the application of Fixed Equipment requirements in order to provide insightful cost management, application of EPs and API guidelines in a digital interface, and proper execution of planning/forecasting processes. The FEDS will adhere to EPs, API and other Best Practice procedures for requirements including, but not limited to, monitoring, analysis, preparing and reporting Fixed Equipment KPIs, Budget, work forecasting, system corrections and efficiency improvements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two (2) or more years related experience in an inspection department (Required)
  • Four (4) or more years experience in inspection, cost control, scheduling, reliability, budgeting within the refining, petrochemical, or energy industry (Preferred)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly capable of establishing trust, respect, competence and confidence; demonstrated ability to drive best practices behaviors when working with owners.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency and demonstrated experience with EAM/SAP as the finance system of record to analyze data, update spending and forecasting, identify purchase order status, and produce cost reports for key stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency and demonstrated experience with MS Excel is preferred.
  • Perform work activities efficiently while continuously having safety and environmental best practices in the forefront.
  • Update Inspection Drawings in the Auto-Cad data base.
  • PCMS analysis and publication of data acquired by contract/Delek Inspection personnel.
  • Verification of inspection data for accuracy.
  • MOC approvals as pertains to PCMS interface.
  • Coordinate continuous interface with the entire team, such as Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Accounting, and more.
  • Work with the reliability team to execute the established plan work flow of on-stream inspections.
  • Verify the planned schedule is aligned with the control budget and cash flow.
  • Monitor and report project costs and perform analysis regarding deviations from the budget.
  • Calculate weekly/monthly budget forecast.
  • Periodic audits related to Auto-Cad drawings and PCMS data.
  • Participate inspection closeout process.
  • Utilize financial system of record to analyze data, update spending and forecasting, identify purchase order status, and produce cost reports for key stakeholders.
  • Support Inspectors in reviewing, checking, processing inspection reports.
  • Support inventory management initiatives for purchase orders issued.
  • Prepare financial work breakdown structure reconciliations and journal entries for project cost coding corrections.
