We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining and logistics.

  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

JOB SUMMARY

Leads a team of Supply Chain professionals that support business operations by sourcing and contracting for third party goods and services to optimize total cost of ownership. Provides guidance and oversight of RFx, contracting, purchasing, expediting, materials management, vendor management and stakeholder support activities. Ensures that employees conduct all Supply Chain activities in compliance with established policies and procedures. Drives the strategy and agenda of the Supply Chain function with business stakeholders to ensure that solutions providing the lowest total cost of ownership are implemented. Sits on the Refinery or BU leadership team as a trusted advisor on matters related to third party goods and services, market conditions and supply chain trends.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Four (4) or more years Management experience (Required)

  • Ten (10) or more years experience in Supply Chain or related field (Required)

  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

  • Leads a team of Supply Chain professionals to support Delek’s operations, manage spend, reduce risk, and create a competitive advantage by optimizing total cost of ownership

  • Establishes effective SCM portfolio management processes, while appropriately challenging third party spend arrangements and contracts, to deliver value and optimize refinery site costs

  • Builds and nurtures effective relationships with senior refinery leadership, other refinery stakeholders and external suppliers and contractors, influencing as appropriate to gain necessary alignment, Participate in cross functional meetings as appropriate

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and Category Managers to review spend and to develop and implement annual refinery contracting & procurement plans and agreed sourcing and contracting strategies for the site

  • Champions use of Delek's SCM processes, chosen tools and methodologies including execution of sourcing events through e-sourcing technology

  • Responsible for budget compliance of supply chain operations and materials management activities

  • Responsible for materials management including warehouse operations, logistics, turnaround materials management, capital equipment storage and surplus disposal

  • Builds and executed turnaround contracting plan and materials management plan

  • Ensures that procurement and contracting activities are compliant with Delek’s standard legal and commercial terms

  • Collaborates with business leadership teams for multi-year procurement plans and strategies to meet functional business needs and objectives for assigned projects
