JOB SUMMARY
The role supports the executive leadership of a designated business segment (e.g., Shared Services, Refining, DK Logistics, Retail, etc.), responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational programs and methods, monitoring performance indicators against the business strategy plan and through cross-functional collaboration devises and implements change plans to aid achieving organizational goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Ten (10) or more years related operations experience (Required)
- No Licensure or Certification Required.

- Performs assessment of the financial performance for assigned business segment (e.g., Refining, DKL, Retail, M&A
- Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve business segment performance; reporting on performance metrics on an established cadence to business segment executive leadership with recommendations
- Leads implementation of transformation initiatives for the business segment
- Provides strategic support for the executive team of the assigned business segment; managing and directing programs and overseeing day-to-day activities
- Serves as POC (point of contact) for stakeholders as proxy for the business segment executive
- Ensures business operations of assigned business segment run safely, efficiently and effectively, in accordance with business goals
- Performs financial modeling, tracking and evaluating against market trends
- Understands the needs of the business segment and works to remove roadblocks to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Supports business segment leadership with strategic planning, both short- and long-term; managing and tracking progress of the business plan
- Leads the annual budgeting process; providing reporting and guidance to the business segment executive leader in preparation for the budgeting process
- Conducts risk evaluation and assessment, providing insights and recommendations to business segment leadership for sound decision making
- Creates and presents data-based business recommendations to executive leaders
- Collaborates as appropriate with cross-functional partners to support larger projects and/or ad hoc requests
- Presents to business segment leadership on insurance and audit findings
- Serves as POC (point of contact) for insurance representatives; providing requested information in a timely manner
- Facilitates cross-functional communications in support of short- and long-term strategic objectives
- Utilizes IMS work process system to ensure adherence
