Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.


The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.


The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.


This position is primarily responsible for supporting group’s efforts in complying with air emission regulations. This includes evaluating and coordinating activities to implement programs and processes required to sustain environmental compliance. It is also responsible for communicating any compliance issues to management and to serve as the technical liaison between environmental and other refinery departments or outside sources.





  • Develop and execute compliance plans, processes, and programs for new and existing air regulations, permits and/or consent decree
  • Anticipate and execute plans to address implementation obstacles for new and existing regulations, permits and /or consent decree 
  • Improve workflow processes, procedures and compliance systems (simpler, more productive, audit compliant)
  • Prepare reports and maintain records monitor and document refinery compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Select and direct implementation project teams and provide support to execution team members
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute plans.
  • Provide technical assistance and regulatory oversight as required throughout the refinery
  • Maintain budget Integrate existing plans into new processes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to solve problems and removes obstacles
  • Facilitate and participate in root cause analysis
  • Develop training for affected stakeholders audit compliance





  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science discipline is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of environmental air related experience
  • Working knowledge of EPA regulations, associated with Air rules and Title V permitting
  • Experience with EPA Refinery Consent Decree preferred
  • General refinery process knowledge
  • Ability to work independently without supervision or review required
  • Project management skills preferred
  • Good people skills
  • Build and/or manage databases
  • Analytical problem solver
  • Good communication skills and ability to interface with project teams, departments and agencies
