Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Position Summary 

The Treasury Hedge Admin will manage hedge trade confirmation process for all swap, options and futures transactions by counterparty and across various segments along with the validation of all derivative transactions within the accounting system.



  • Manage hedge counterparty trade confirmation/statement process
  • Review trader logs for the distribution of confirmations and to review trade details for accuracy
  • Email confirms to traders each day for trade verification
  • Pull RightAngle activation report daily for trade verification of exchange traded transactions
  • Ensure all trades/statements contain the proper approvals for audit
  • Scan and save all confirms/statements once all approvals received
  • Maintain and save all daily and monthly MTM and Settlement Statements
  • Hedge Margin Preparation
  • Review statements to determine margin call totals for excess and deficit balances
  • Obtain approvals for deficit balances due counter parties
  • Prepare wire forms for deficits on margins
  • Hedge Settlement Process Preparation
  • Check settlement statements to confirms by trade for accuracy
  • Prepare the month end settlement packet for processing to management
  • Add settlements to Trade Settlement Log monthly
  • Trade Verification
  • Manipulate spreadsheet so trades can be verified against confirms/statements
  • Check trades against confirms and FCM statements
  • Correct data on trades that are loaded incorrectly from upload
  • Enter futures commissions into SAP to each trade once trade is uploaded, verify those amounts and then post to SAP
  • Enter missing data by trade on the main hedge detail spreadsheet
  • Prepare J/E for swap commissions by trade
  • Maintain a monthly commission spreadsheet daily by strategy that tracks the amount of commission associated with the daily trades.
  • Balance the monthly commission spreadsheet against counterparty statements and the general ledger monthly
  • Assist with the month-end reconciliation of the hedge report during close
  • Back-up duties
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Approve ACH, POS & check exceptions for all banks


Requirements – Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • General ledger experience in SAP a plus with general reconciliation experience
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Organizational skills, preferably in a paperless environment
  • Accounting/Finance degree preferred (Associates or equivalent two year degree, minimum)
