Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

 

The Service Automation Developer position is responsible for developing approved business requirements within ServiceNow from inception to solution and implementation.

 

  • Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, LDAP, REST, SOAP, PowerShell, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS
  • Service Portal implementation and customization using Angular JS and Bootstrap
  • Identify and invent novel solutions to challenging technical problems and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
  • Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs
  • Develop and deliver customized portal web pages in ServiceNow
  • Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow
  • Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
  • 3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow
  • Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow
  • Configure ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration.
  • Advises Functional and admin teams on design development and overall ServiceNow best practices.
  • Performs developer peer QA testing.

Education/Experience:

 

  • BA/BS from four-year College/University or equivalent business/technical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct and influence teams or projects including interaction with upper management.
  • Accountable for the implementation of ITIL Service and Support Management processes striving to continuously improve services to achieve defined service levels.  The scope of accountability includes Office support supervision, incident supervision and associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) etc.
  • Provides overall direction, guidance and definition of the platform to effectively support the business strategy. 
  • Capable of identifying and implementing process improvement ideas that increase quality and improve communications in the Delek organization.
  • 1+ years of JavaScript experience including usage of jQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS frameworks; HTML experience.
  • 1+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration and administration experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into production.
  • Knowledge of system design and development used within Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, JAXWS)
  • Integration (interfacing) of enterprise software systems with ServiceNow
  • Experience working in and managing multiple update sets and coordinating their promotion.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
  • Must have experience in multiple ServiceNow implementations and have developed custom applications
  • Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever changing environment
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with scripting in ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
  •   BA/BS from four-year College/University (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Release Management, etc. (preferred)
  • ServiceNow Developer or Implementation certifications (preferred)
