Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.


The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.


The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.



The Senior Risk and Reporting Analyst works in the Middle Office. The Middle Office is part of the Finance organization and serves the Commercial Operations team. The team produces profit/loss analysis, position analysis, monitors risk limits, and ensures the overall accuracy and completeness of all third-party and inter-company transactions. The Commercial portfolio consists of both financial and physically-settled instruments. The Commercial team is charged with optimizing Delek’s asset and therefore uses commodities including crude oil, gasolines, jet fuel, asphalt, marine fuels, feedstocks, and renewables. Delek manages commodities both domestically and internationally. The middle office ensures that the buying and selling of energy-related commodities to hedge and optimize Delek’s downstream energy business is accurate, timely, and presented transparently through reporting financial, volumetric, and risk exposure of Delek’s positions to meet annual and strategic goals. In addition, Middle Office provides analysis to understand market risk and facilitate working with Delek’s trading partners, brokers, and logistics carriers.


Successful candidates are able to perform these duties as well as provide insights into market changes, position movements, and changes in risk. Candidates should possess an understanding of how physical and financial instruments settle on a variety of exchanges such as CME/NYMEX and ICE.


The position requires working in a team-oriented environment and possessing superior communication and problem-solving skills. Daily interactions across the business require assertiveness and diplomacy to solve problems and handle emerging issues in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Middle Office team working in a growing business that requires developing the policies, processes, and controls necessary to support the business and attain key strategic goals. The Middle Office regularly interacts with Back Office / Accounting, Settlements, Treasury, Commercial Operations, Legal, IT, Internal Audit, and Management.


The position requires high-proficiency utilizing Excel and has experience working with ETRM (Energy & Trading Risk Management) platforms. Additionally, candidates must be highly-proficient in Microsoft Office applications (such as Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).




  • Knows and understands an ETRM framework and utilizing capabilities to produce mark-to-market, volumetric positions, and decompose risks in a portfolio of physical and financial instruments.
  • Support Commercial Operations, Middle Office, Accounting, Legal, and Management with senior-level analytical abilities in financial, volumetric, and risk reporting and analysis
  • Perform what-if analysis and applied problem solving to understand market trends and optimize commercial performance
  • Coach and guide junior members of the staff to grow talent and improve performance
  • Perform risk policy compliance tracking and periodic reporting to management
  • Evolve processes and controls to accommodate a growing business strategy and creating efficiencies to handle increased transaction volume




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant finance, accounting or audit experience in a transactional environment; energy or financial instrument experience is desirable
  • Self-motivated, internally driven, detail-oriented
