Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing.  The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.

 

The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.  Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.

 

The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Executive Recruiter is responsible for the full life-cycle of recruiting for top tier, mid-to senior-level professional roles, and executive-level positions within Delek US. As the Executive Recruiter, you will plan, coordinate, manage, and drive all aspects of hiring activities using direct sourcing, online postings, referrals, and other relevant methods as appropriate. Additionally, you will work with leadership and professional development to determine hiring profiles and specifications to ensure criteria matches business needs. You will manage all aspects of candidate development, including serving as a key contact for candidates throughout the attraction, interview, offer and cultivation stages.

 

This is a newly created position to help us support our strong growth and desire for top leadership talent in the marketplace. With expertise in sourcing passive, senior level talent, the Executive Recruiter will play an integral part in maximizing a robust talent acquisition tool set, while working toward a goal of hiring the very best talent to support accelerated growth and business transformation. The ideal candidate will have previous executive recruiting experience and be self-directed and eager to join a fast-paced, growth oriented organization. This position is located in our corporate office in Brentwood, TN and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition Operations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Drive a high-touch, proactive, and consultative full life-cycle search process to maintain an exceptional client service, meet the needs of Hiring Managers, and create a best in class candidate experience
  • Develop sourcing strategy for each vacancy and execute against that strategy utilizing various tools for positions at the VP & C-Suite level as well as mid-senior level roles
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and overall compatibility with client requirements; evaluate motivators of passive and active candidates, and influence candidate decision-making
  • Select, evaluate, and deliver quality candidates with the goal of earning a high level of credibility as an effective and responsive internal partner while advancing the Delek brand across all areas of the business
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process in the identification and assessment of internal and external talent using creative and proactive methods, define ideal candidate profiles and develop compelling job descriptions, including competency & performance-based interviewing techniques
  • Managing the interview process with candidates and hiring managers in accordance with company guidelines in addition to negotiating salaries and presenting employment offers to candidates while ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires
  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand their functions and key business goals, and proactively partner to determine current and future talent requirements
  • Establish and maintain a network of industry contacts through participation in professional and/or trade associations and other professional networking organizations
  • Establish and maintain talent market expertise including comprehensive view of industry trends and competitors; provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, telling the Delek story, and an understanding of talent needs
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of cost effective recruiting/sourcing skills and knowledge using latest sourcing and recruiting methods/technologies and improving organization attractiveness by keeping abreast of industry trends, compensation packages and practices
  • Coaches, trains and mentors other team members
  • Manage outside search firms as necessary
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word)
  • Proven experience sourcing and recruiting for VP and C-Suite level using innovative and proactive sourcing methods
  • Demonstrated discretion and great judgment, with the ability to interact comfortably and professionally with all levels of candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build internal networks and to be resourceful in seeking out best practices and support
  • Adaptable and innovative; comfort with ambiguity and navigating between strategic and tactical execution
  • Highly organized, analytical, action and detail oriented, possess an “ownership” personality with a sense of urgency to drive results, excellent listening, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and projects, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment; capable of dealing with conflict and ambiguity

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline
  • Experience working in a Retained search firm

  • Merger and Acquisition experience strongly preferred

  • Experience in Refining, Oil & Gas or Energy sector strongly preferred

  • SAP SuccessFactors experience

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Corporate office (cubicle) environment
  • Monday-Friday, standard business hours
  • Ability to travel when needed; up to 15% travel annually
