We are looking for a Corporate Recruiter, Retail to join our team at our Dallas, TX office.

The best Retail Recruiters understand the sense of urgency needed to find the right talent at the right time.  They understand how to network within the industry, executing on strategies aimed at uncovering passive talent in high volume retail field operations as well as in the corporate office. They understand that retail recruiting is as much about utilizing technology as it is utilizing “boots on the ground” approaches. They will play an integral part in maximizing a robust talent acquisition tool set, while working toward a goal of hiring the very best retail talent to support accelerated growth and a business transformation.

 

This role includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand their functions and key business goals, and proactively partner to determine current and future talent requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process in the identification and assessment of internal and external talent using creative and proactive methods, including competency & performance-based interviewing techniques 
  • Develop sourcing strategy for each vacancy and execute against that strategy utilizing various tools for positions in multiple departments and at multiple levels (both in convenience store field operations as well as corporate-level roles)
  • Select, evaluate, and deliver quality candidates with the goal of earning a high level of credibility as an effective and responsive internal partner while advancing the Delek brand across all areas of the business 
  • Partner with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to drive the recruitment process by setting expectations and maintaining consistent internal and external communication 
  • Establish and maintain talent market expertise including comprehensive view of retail and convenience-store trends and competitors; provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, telling the Delek story, and an understanding of talent needs 
  • Provide data analytics/reporting to reflect the landscape of recruiting in the retail business unit
  • Assist in driving applicant flow to the non-exempt positions through assisting with career fairs, building relationships/partnerships with local community partners/colleges, etc.
  • Travel to local markets to understand specific staffing challenges, partnering with the store and district leaders as well as HR to identify areas of opportunity and supporting strategies

 

The right candidate brings the following to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years direct recruiting experience:  at least 2 years in high volume environments such as retail, c-store, hospitality. Must also have at least two years of experience recruiting exempt level roles at the corporate level.
  • Strong knowledge of HR related regulations related to recruiting and on-boarding processes 
  • Solid knowledge of systems and reporting tools used in a corporate recruiting environment  
  • Proven experience recruiting retail leadership roles using innovative and proactive sourcing methods 
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships 
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage time efficiently 
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success 
  • Demonstrated discretion and great judgment, with the ability to interact comfortably and professionally with all levels of candidates and internal clients 
  • Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a customer-service orientation 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word) 
  • Ability to travel to markets in the field to visit stores/districts
